HR Generalist

Our client based in North Dublin is hiring a HR Generalist to join their growing HR Team.
Location: Leixlip – Kildare or Santry – North Dublin
Working Model: Hybrid – travel to multisite locations when/if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a HR Generalist team reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will work on a broad range of HR Generalist duties under ER, Recruitment, L&D, Projects and Reporting as outlined in greater detail below;
  • Recruitment support when needed, for example drafting of job descriptions and support on roles from entry to supervisor level.
  • Responsible for ensuring the payroll tracker is up to date month to month
  • Responsible for doing payroll checks each month
  • Updating and reviewing of policies and procedures in line with legislative changes
  • Support on a range of ER issues such as probation issues, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Responsible for all processes in relation to family Leave – Maternity risk assessments, Maternity Plans etc.
  • Ensure contract information is correct and entered correctly into the HRIS
  • Provide high quality customer support to operations by attending operational HR business calls
  • Identifying training gaps for management with responsibility to design and deliver training workshops to eliminate gaps in your operation and across Ireland
  • Deliver cluster workshops collaborating with L&D team
  • Use your operational knowledge and information available from HRIS to proactively highlight key statistics to BP, and collaborate on a solution-based approach
  • Conducting exit interviews for leavers and work with team members to present key findings
  • Ad hoc project work as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • BA/MA in Human Resource Management or Business equivalent
  • CIPD / Employment Law diploma is desirable
  • Experience working in a large multinational organisation
  • 2 year’s experience in HR Generalist position with ability to be proactive, self-sufficient and can work independently
  • Excellent knowledge in employment law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within the business
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of handling a high-volume ER caseload.
  • Experience using HR Systems and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with a solution based approach
  • Ability to travel to sites when necessary
