HR Manager

Job Details

Our client, an electrical distribution company based in North Dublin, is looking for a HR Manager to join their team. This HR Manager role is a permanent standalone position and will be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and advisory duties. This role will report into the Managing Directors of the company.
Onsite – Dublin 15 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs, performance management and the staff recognition scheme
  • Support and advise managers in relation to performance management issues
  • Manage the full recruitment process
  • Support the employee lifestyle including onboarding and off-boarding of employees
  • Prepare, manage and implement the annual training plan for employees
  • Identify gaps & challenges in HR matters & provide solutions using HR best practices in alignment with business strategy
  • Apply specific programs & initiatives designed to improve performance management, career development, organisational design, workforce planning, talent development, compensation planning & employee relations
  • Interpret employment law and advise management accordingly
  • Assist in the Group Quarterly Reporting
  • Sign off on payroll

Key requirements:

  • A degree in HR, business or related field
  • 4 years minimum relevant HR experience
  • Ability to travel when required to the UK
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; easily approachable to address all HR-related queries
  • Excellent organisational skills with thorough attention to detail
  • analytical problem-solving skills are necessary to identify and resolve issues
  • Proficient ability using Microsoft office
  • Self-motivated and reliable qualities
  • The ability to interpret and communicate statistical data
  • An ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Onsite is preferable
