I’m working on an exciting, newly created opportunity for a commercially minded Strategic HR Business Partner to partner with senior leadership across Group Functions within a complex, international organisation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting close to the business, challenging thinking, improving organisational effectiveness and turning business strategy into practical people solutions.
With a strong focus on transformation, organisational design and performance, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how the organisation evolves, helping leaders build the right structures, capabilities and talent for the future.
What will you be doing?
Strategic business partnering: Acting as a trusted advisor and constructive challenger to senior functional leaders, translating business priorities into effective people plans.
Organisation design & workforce planning: Supporting organisational design, restructuring, workforce planning and organisational simplification, ensuring structures are fit for purpose.
Talent & succession: Identifying critical capability needs, developing talent pipelines and supporting succession planning across specialist and corporate functions.
Transformation & change: Supporting the evolution of operating models, global ways of working and initiatives focused on cost, productivity and scalability.
People insight & governance: Using workforce data to inform decisions and partnering with HR colleagues on consistent frameworks, reward governance and evolving pay transparency requirements.
What are we looking for?
You’ll bring a minimum of five years’ experience in HR Business Partnering, organisational effectiveness or transformation, ideally within a complex, multi-site or international organisation.
You’ll also have:
Experience supporting corporate, Group or specialist functions.
A solid understanding of organisational design, workforce planning and performance management.
Experience contributing to transformation, restructuring or organisational improvement initiatives.
The confidence to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and balance global consistency with practical local delivery.
A commercially minded, analytical approach, with the ability to turn insight into action.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, private equity-backed or matrixed environment would be advantageous.
A short notice period would be ideal, although this is not a deal-breaker for the right person.
