12 Month Contract | Dublin 22 | Hybrid

HR Search is partnering with an established and growing Irish business to appoint a People Generalist on a 12-month contract. We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist with at least 3 years’ experience and genuine end-to-end recruitment experience.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity offering the chance to work closely with the Director of People across end-to-end recruitment, employee lifecycle, People advisory and a range of projects designed to shape and develop the People function.

With close to 100 employees across the Irish business, this is a role where you’ll have plenty of visibility, ownership and opportunity to make an impact.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job specification and sourcing through to interviews, offers and onboarding
  • Partnering closely with hiring managers to support effective recruitment and deliver a positive candidate experience
  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers across day-to-day People queries
  • Managing the employee lifecycle, including joiners, movers, leavers, contracts, benefits and HRIS administration
  • Supporting payroll, pension, health insurance and other employee benefits
  • Providing guidance on areas including performance, absence, leave and employee relations, escalating more complex matters where appropriate
  • Supporting the development and implementation of People policies and processes
  • Supporting performance management, learning and development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Taking ownership of projects across areas such as employer brand, wellbeing, reward, ED&I, AI in HR and process improvement

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and core HR processes
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers across a variety of roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Experience working with an HRIS and HR data/reporting
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A practical, people-focused approach with sound judgement and discretion
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership and suggest improvements
  • An interest in how AI can be used to improve and enhance People processes
  • CIPD membership is preferred but not essential.

This is a role with genuine breadth and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in projects beyond the core generalist remit as the People function continues to develop.
