Our client, a leading global organisation are seeking a HR Advisor to join their team in Shannon, Co. Clare. Reporting to the HR Manager – Ireland , you will be for day to day HR activities. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a continuous growth and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the smooth running of the HR department with the support and guidance of the HR Manager
  • Responsible for complete end to end recruitment practice including coaching and supporting line managers in interviews through to offer stage
  • Manage the end to end, on boarding and off boarding experience for all employees
  • Management of personnel files and training records
  • Partner with line managers on day-to-day P&C issues, with the support and guidance of the HR Manager
  • Develop and deliver employee reward and engagement initiatives in conjunction with the Global HR team
  • Ensure all HR systems are kept fully updated, and provide reporting on HR metrics.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and deal with queries
  • Completion of a wide range of administrative tasks, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
  • To support in the development of HR related processes and procedures providing advice and support to all stakeholders
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of current employment law, case law and best practice
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the HR Manager

Key Requirements:

  • 3rd Level Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline with a CIPD Accreditation
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Human Resources role, ideally within a fast paced environment
  • Detailed understanding of legislation relating to People & Culture issues, and ability to translate
  • knowledge into relevant policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience and knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
