I’m partnering with a leading international food production business to find an ambitious HR Generalist for a high-energy, fast-paced site in Co. Cork. This isn’t a “sit back and process paperwork” kind of role it’s a hands-on, visible position where you’ll be right at the heart of operations, influencing people strategy, supporting leaders, and driving real impact on the ground. What you’ll be doing You’ll be the driving force behind day-to-day HR on site, including:
Managing the full employee lifecycle recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and exits
Supporting managers with performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters
Leading on international hiring and work permit processes
Delivering training and coaching to build stronger people management capability
Providing key HR insights through reporting and data analysis
Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and resource strategy
Supporting payroll processes and resolving pay-related queries
Driving engagement and fostering a positive employee relations culture
Contributing to HR projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
What I’m looking for
2+ years’ experience in a busy HR role
Strong knowledge of employment legislation
A confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment
Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Discreet, detail-focused, and solutions-driven
Bonus points for: payroll exposure or HR systems experience Why this role?
