About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and thoughtful Head of HR to join the Senior Management Team in a pivotal leadership role. This is a unique opportunity for a people leader who is motivated by purpose-driven work and wants to play a meaningful role in supporting artists, creative teams and the wider organisation.
You will shape and lead the people strategy in a dynamic, production-led environment balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery and helping to create the conditions where creativity and people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver an HR strategy aligned with artistic and organisational goals
  • Support a sustainable, values-led organisation in the not-for-profit sector
  • Drive inclusion, diversity, equity and access across all areas of the organisation
  • Strengthen HR systems, policies and governance to support long-term impact

🔹 Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

  • Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations across staff, artists and production teams
  • Lead engagement and wellbeing initiatives in a high-energy creative environment
  • Promote dignity, respect and safe working practices

🔹 Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Lead inclusive recruitment campaigns to attract diverse creative and professional talent
  • Support fair, transparent and values-led hiring processes
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and vetting requirements

🔹 HR Operations

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding for both permanent and project-based teams
  • Optimise HR systems and processes to support a flexible workforce model
  • Maintain efficient and responsive HR operations

🔹 Talent & Performance

  • Embed performance and development frameworks
  • Support leadership development, coaching and mentoring
  • Enable learning and growth across artistic and operational teams

  • Ensure fair and competitive approaches to pay across a diverse workforce

🔹 Leadership

  • Line manage and develop an HR team member
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and leadership as part of the SMT

About You
Essential:

  • 5+ years in a senior HR role (HR Manager / HR Business Partner)
  • Relevant HR qualification (e.g. CIPD or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Experience in fast-paced, people-focused environments
  • Strong employee relations experience
  • High integrity, sound judgement and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in the arts, cultural or not-for-profit sectors
  • Experience supporting project-based or freelance workforces
  • HR systems expertise
  • Payroll experience

Salary & Benefits
💰 €70,000 – €80,000 (DOE)
