Senior HR Business Partner – Specific Purpose Contract (12+ Months)
Dublin (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite with some national travel)

Are you an experienced Senior HR Business Partner with a strong track record in Industrial Relations and Union engagement?

We’re partnering with a large, national organisation in a highly unionised environment to appoint a Senior HRBP for a minimum 12-month specific purpose contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a complex, people-centric business that’s undergoing transformation and modernisation. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to deliver the HR strategy across multiple divisions — influencing, guiding, and shaping the people agenda in a dynamic and change-oriented environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with business leaders to drive people strategy and organisational effectiveness.
  • Leading on industrial relations and change management, with a focus on constructive union engagement.
  • Providing expert guidance on performance, workforce planning and talent development.
  • Supporting transformation projects and business change initiatives.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all HR matters.

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience as a Senior HRBP or equivalent within a unionised or public sector-aligned environment.
  • Proven expertise in industrial relations, employee engagement and navigating complex HR landscapes.
  • A confident communicator with strong influencing skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at every level.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to be operationally hands-on
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
