About the Company
A rapidly expanding logistics company focused on professionalism, safety, and operational efficiency is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior HR Generalist. With a current team of 75+ and anticipated growth to 100–120 staff over the next 18–24 months, this role is critical in supporting our workforce development and organisational growth plans.
Role Overview
As Senior HR Generalist Lead, you will lead and deliver all aspects of human resources across the business, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, onboarding, training coordination, and people development. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure our company attracts, retains, and develops great people, while maintaining a legally compliant, respectful, and high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns for drivers, office, and support staff
- Build talent pipelines and work with hiring managers to forecast workforce needs
- Oversee onboarding and induction for all new hires
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law, GDPR, RSA/CPC standards, and internal policies
- Maintain and update contracts, handbooks, HR policies, and procedures
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance processes professionally and fairly
People Management & Support
- Be a point of contact for employee queries and support management with day-to-day HR needs
- Develop and oversee staff reviews, appraisals, and performance development plans
- Drive engagement and retention initiatives as the team grows
HR Administration & Systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Implement and manage HR software for efficiency and compliance
- Report on HR KPIs including recruitment activity, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
Culture & Development
- Promote a respectful, professional, and inclusive workplace
- Coordinate or support training plans and staff development initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement events, surveys, and feedback loops
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner role
- Solid knowledge of Irish employment law, GDPR, and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident working with senior leadership and frontline teams (e.g., drivers)
- Proactive, organised, and hands-on
- CIPD qualification (or working toward) preferred
