HR Partner 12 Month Contract

Job Details

We’re currently recruiting for an HR Partner to join an established People and Culture team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this is a broad generalist HR role offering the opportunity to work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and support while contributing to wider people initiatives.

The role spans the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations, recruitment and performance management to HR operations, employee engagement and talent development.
It would suit an experienced HR generalist who is looking to step up into an HRBP role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • HR Business Partnering: Build trusted relationships with managers, understand their business priorities and provide practical HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Employee Relations & Policy: Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management and the application of HR policies, ensuring practices remain aligned with current employment legislation.
  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers on recruitment plans, job descriptions and selection processes, working with direct sourcing channels and recruitment agencies to attract the right talent.
  • HR Operations & Systems: Oversee a range of HR processes, including onboarding, probation, offboarding, employee records, payroll changes, benefits and HR systems.
  • Employee Engagement & Communications: Support engagement initiatives, internal communications and activities that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Learning & Development: Work with managers and the wider People and Culture team to identify development needs, support talent management and contribute to leadership and management development initiatives.
  • People Projects: Collaborate with colleagues across the business on people-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience across a broad range of HR disciplines, including HR business partnering, employee relations, recruitment and policy guidance.
  • A sound understanding of Irish employment legislation and employee relations practices.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to advise and coach managers.
  • Experience working with HR systems and processes, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A third-level qualification, ideally in HR or Business, along with relevant HR or Learning & Development training. CIPD or equivalent certification would be an advantage.

If you’re looking for a varied generalist role where you can work closely with managers and contribute across a broad range of people activities, we’d love to hear from you.
