Job Title: Human Resources Executive
Reports to: Head of Human Resources
Office Location:Hybrid Kildare or Tipperary (Multisite travel may be required) 
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:
A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused HR Executive is sought to support the delivery of a high-quality HR service across a large, values-driven organisation within the health and social care sector. You’ll work closely with department heads and managers to provide guidance and operational HR support on matters such as recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, and general HR operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a mission-driven environment focused on delivering person-centred services across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and staff.
  • Assist with employee relations including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate performance management systems and learning & development initiatives.
  • Help maintain HR systems, records, and data in line with GDPR.
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Support positive union and staff representative engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior HR role in the healthcare or related sector.
  • Strong background in employee relations and industrial relations, including union engagement.
  • Knowledge of Irish and EU employment law.
  • Experience with safeguarding, HIQA standards, and Trust in Care processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the not-for-profit, charity, or Section 38/39 sectors.
  • Understanding of values-based, person-centred care models.

Other Requirements:

  • Full driving license and access to own transport (travel between service locations required).
  • Garda Vetting and police checks (as applicable).
  • Must be of good character and in good health to undertake the role.
