Location: County Mayo onsite full time.

Job Type: Full-time, 16 month contract
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a growing international organisation as a Group HR Generalist. Working closely with senior HR leadership, you will support the day-to-day delivery of the global HR function while contributing to the implementation of the company’s people strategy.
This is a broad and varied role offering exposure to international HR operations, employee relations, HR systems, policy development and cross-functional projects across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Assist with the development, review and implementation of HR policies and employee handbooks to ensure legislative compliance and best practice.
  • Support the delivery of the organisation’s HR strategy and key people initiatives.
  • Manage HR reporting and key people metrics, producing regular reports and insights.
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS, ensuring GDPR compliance and data accuracy.
  • Provide first-line support for HR system users and assist with ongoing system improvements.
  • Support international employee mobility, including relocation, visa administration and benefits coordination where required.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure an excellent employee experience.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, internal communications and wellbeing programmes.
  • Partner with managers to ensure performance reviews, holiday management and other key HR processes are completed effectively.
  • Participate in HR and wider business projects that support organisational growth and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research and analyse HR data to support talent attraction and employee experience initiatives.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
  • Champion company values and act as an ambassador for the HR function.

About You
We’re looking for an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment.
You will have:

  • A third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally supporting multiple sites or international operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms; exposure to BambooHR would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in HR analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate or similar reporting tools would be an advantage.
