Our client has tasked us with searching for an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join their vibrant People Team. Within this role you will play a pivotal part in driving and delivering the ER agenda.


  • HR/Business degree (NFQ8) and CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full, clean driving license


  • 5+ years in Employee Relations within a fast-paced, multisite environment
  • Strong background in employment law and industrial relations
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle confidential cases
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across all employee levels


  • Deep knowledge of Irish and EU Employment Legislation
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and mediation abilities
  • Expertise in HR best practices, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking capabilities
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement proactive ER strategies and policies
  • Manage formal ER casework and ensure satisfactory resolutions
  • Lead Trade Union negotiations and represent the organisation at relevant forums
  • Provide expert ER advice, training, and support to managers and HRBPs
  • Analyse ER trends and recommend proactive interventions
