Job Title: Benefits Manager
Location: Dublin City – Hybrid
 
About the Role: As a new role within the Reward team, the Benefits Project Manager will play a crucial role in spotlighting our organisation’s benefits. This position is key to ensuring that our Total Reward offering remains relevant, commercial, targeted, and attractive. Given the current focus on employee engagement and retention, the Benefits Project Manager will drive a step change in the management, delivery, and optimisation of benefits. The ideal candidate will be innovative and collaborative, bringing fresh ideas to reimagine our benefits programs.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

    • Ensure that the Benefits programs support the implementation of the reward strategy by being relevant, commercial, targeted, and attractive, thus enabling the organisation to attract, engage, and reward the talent needed to achieve our strategic goals.
    • Develop a group-level benefits strategy focusing on the overall positioning of our benefits and outlining the positive impacts to be delivered across all employee demographics.

Project Management:

    • Develop and deliver a project plan to support a benefits review, from assessing current offerings’ effectiveness and market attractiveness, to building business cases for change, acquiring stakeholder support, and leading the delivery, marketing, and coordination of such initiatives.
    • Define measures of success with clear metrics and demonstrate success through regular reporting and trend analysis.

Market Engagement:

    • Actively monitor market developments, engage with external bodies, be open to new ideas, and propose new or enhanced benefits to improve key employee and employer metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Actively engage with and listen to stakeholders at all levels and in all business units to understand employees and their preferences thoroughly.

 Key Requirements:
 Business Acumen:

    • Understanding of business strategies, competitive challenges, and the financial impact of HR decisions.
    • Commercially minded with the ability to understand business goals and translate them into strategy development and execution.

Change Management:

    • Ability to deliver change, with experience in problem analysis and solution design.
    • Experience in managing projects and stakeholders.

Communication & Collaboration:

    • Highly effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to all levels within the organisation.
    • Self-driven with an ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
    • Highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work collaboratively, advise, and influence across all levels.

Skills & Experience:

    • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
    • Good time management skills with a consistent ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent judgement.
    • 10+ years of relevant experience.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or another relevant discipline or equivalent relevant work experience is essential.
