Senior HR Generalist

Job Details

Our client, a leading food and beverage multinational organisation is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their growing team in Dublin. In this role, you will be supporting the operations and distribution teams in the east of Ireland. You will support colleagues across the operations and distribution teams at the distribution centres in Dublin, New Ross and Athlone in all areas of HR partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for Regional General Managers on all HR related activities
  • Provide support and guidance to leaders across multiple regional locations
  • Proactively plan for HR initiatives with HR leaders to support employee engagement, recruitment and retention
  • Support with employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance and probationary management
  • Lead recruitment life cycle for all regional locations with the support of Talent Acquisition
  • Point of contact for organising the new starter process
  • Maintain and analyse data and insights from HR System
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into HR metrics and trends
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as necessary
  • Ensure HR employee and time and attendance related systems are accurately maintained
  • Ad Hoc HR related projects as they arise

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a HR Generalist or HR Partner, ideally within a similar fast paced environment
  • BA/MA in Human Resource Management or business equivalent, or CIPD certification
  • Proven ER/IR experience, with exposure to arranging, preparing, supporting and/or leading ER meetings
  • Experience working with stakeholders at a senior level in a HR capacity
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible with occasional travel across Ireland
