HR Business Partner – Maternity Leave Contract

Our client is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team on a 12 month contract.

As a HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with multiple business units. You will be instrumental in creating and implementing effective people solutions that drive the people agenda, enhance organisational capability, and align with the overall business strategy.

Role Overview:

  • People Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement solutions to drive the People strategy across business units, ensuring alignment with overall business direction.
  • People Plans: Partner with business leaders to enhance employee engagement and integrate people plans with broader HR strategies, policies, and priorities.
  • HR Practices: Manage a range of HR practices, including workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, organisational design and development, talent and leadership development, and employee relations.
  • Organisational Design: Contribute to organisational design projects to streamline structures, roles, and processes, ensuring agility and efficiency in response to business demands.
  • Culture, Values & Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders to create engagement plans, articulate business impacts, and recommend solutions.
  • High-Performing Teams: Coach managers on people policies and processes, fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.
  • Future Skills Planning: Develop strategic and tactical workforce plans to ensure the right skills are in place at the right time.
  • HR Effectiveness: Manage HR activities such as recruitment, resourcing, absence management, performance, and employee relations in conjunction with specialist HR teams.
  • Data Analysis: Review of HR data to identify changing people dynamics and support decision-making.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong technical HR knowledge and its practical application, with a proven track record in HR Business Partnering, leadership, people transformation, and cultural change.
  • 3-5 years experience in a Business Partnering role.
  • Excellent collaborator and influencer with the ability to engage, inspire, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in HR-related projects and people transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to coach people leaders and embed a high-performance culture.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and implementation of new HR tools is advantageous.
  • Educational Background: Typically, graduate level or corresponding experience, MCIPD, or relevant business/professional qualification.
