Our client, a leading global organisation are seeking a HR Advisor to join their team in Shannon, Co. Clare. Reporting to the HR Manager – Ireland , you will be for day to day HR activities. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a continuous growth and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist with the smooth running of the HR department with the support and guidance of the HR Manager
Responsible for complete end to end recruitment practice including coaching and supporting line managers in interviews through to offer stage
Manage the end to end, on boarding and off boarding experience for all employees
Management of personnel files and training records
Partner with line managers on day-to-day P&C issues, with the support and guidance of the HR Manager
Develop and deliver employee reward and engagement initiatives in conjunction with the Global HR team
Ensure all HR systems are kept fully updated, and provide reporting on HR metrics.
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and deal with queries
Completion of a wide range of administrative tasks, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
To support in the development of HR related processes and procedures providing advice and support to all stakeholders
Maintain a good working knowledge of current employment law, case law and best practice
Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the HR Manager
Key Requirements:
3rd Level Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline with a CIPD Accreditation
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Human Resources role, ideally within a fast paced environment
Detailed understanding of legislation relating to People & Culture issues, and ability to translate
knowledge into relevant policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience and knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
