We have been exclusively mandated by our client to source a Head of People & Culture for Ireland. This role will spearhead their talent, culture, and organisational strategy across the region.
Reporting to the Global Chief People & Culture Officer, this pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead during a time of transformation—balancing global ambition with local excellence, and integrating people strategy across borders.
Reporting to the Global Chief People & Culture Officer, the Head of People & Culture – Ireland will lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of HR in Ireland while serving as a key contributor to the firm’s broader EMEA and global People & Culture agenda.
This role demands a globally minded, culturally agile leader who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and can balance enterprise-wide objectives with local needs.
As an architect of people strategy and cultural integration, the Head of P&C will shape a cohesive, inclusive employee experience, support post-M&A integration across borders, and mentor a high-performing team that embodies collaboration, adaptability and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as strategic advisor to Irish and regional leadership on talent, culture, and organisational development.
Align HR strategy with business priorities across Ireland and the broader global enterprise.
Lead people integration for acquired firms across EMEA, including change management, cultural harmonization, and organizational design.
Develop scalable integration frameworks with global P&C leadership and the Integration Management Office.
Oversee all aspects of the HR lifecycle in Ireland (e.g. employee relations, compensation, talent acquisition, performance, and experience).
Champion a high-performance culture rooted in the firm’s values.
Mentor and grow a People & Culture team that is globally attuned, collaborative, and agile.
Drive local and regional engagement, wellbeing, and belonging initiatives that reflect both global standards and cultural context.
Leverage people analytics to inform strategy, identify trends, and measure impact.
Collaborate closely with global COEs (e.g. L&D, Mobility, HRIS, and Operations).
Contribute to EMEA-wide HR strategy and serve as a voice for Ireland in global forums.
Identify operating model and offshore opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Ensure delivery excellence through a responsive, high-impact support model.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required – Master’s preferred.
15+ years of senior HR leadership experience, ideally within a global or professional services environment.
Proven ability to lead in complex, cross-border settings and influence across cultures and levels.
Demonstrated success driving post-M&A people integration and scaling HR functions.
Skilled in organizational design, talent planning, and cultural transformation.
Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
Experienced in leading high-performing teams and building inclusive workplace cultures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong executive presence.
Willingness to travel as required.
