We’re partnering with a well-established client in the financial services sector to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner for a 13-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative HR team and contribute to the delivery of both local and global people initiatives within a fast-paced, matrixed environment. About the Role Supporting approximately 400 employees in the Dublin office, you’ll work closely with local leadership and the wider HR function to drive strategic and operational HR support. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, a coaching mindset, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Areas of Responsibility Business Partnering
Provide strategic HR support across multiple business units
Coach and empower managers on performance, engagement, and team development
Support workforce planning and retention strategies
Talent & Learning
Assist in succession planning and talent reviews
Promote learning and development plans aligned with business needs
Support management development and career progression pathways
Employee Relations
Offer best practice guidance on ER matters, helping to create a positive workplace culture
Equip managers with the skills to manage employee issues effectively
Performance & Reward
Drive a meaningful performance management process
Partner with compensation teams to deliver competitive retention plans and market-aligned packages
HR Projects & Policy
Contribute to local and global HR initiatives and policy development
Participate in change management efforts across the business
Ideally you will have
Previous experience in a HR Business Partner role, ideally in financial or professional services
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a solution-focused mindset
Experience in a matrixed or international organisation (advantageous)
Third-level qualification in HR, Business or related field
Strong project and stakeholder management skills
